An early 20c mantel clock in an 'Intarsio' Art Nouveau inspired pottery case. The green glazed case has a central triangular triangular stem and two side legs which support the circular 30 hour German single train movement which has a 5cm diam. cream dial with Arabic numerals and a brass dial centre. The central stem of the case bears the image of a 'knocker-up' with his lantern and stick and the words 'wake up and get to business'. The clock stands 24cm tall.
The case is in good condition, as is the dial and glass. the movement is reluctant to keep running and needs some attention.
