A stunning beautifully carved antique wooden military stationery box / letter rack with a large hallmarked silver plaque to the front presented to the Sergeants mess by Honorary members and civilian friends January 1905 also includes a musical stave on the plaque, the back of the box has a beautifully hand carved figure and has in 2 carved panels Sergt. Major Cross Hants depot, Sergeant Major church 3rd batt Hants, regt, also features deep carved flower decorations to the inside, in excellent good antique condition, has a height of 37cm, a length of 43.5cm and a depth of 28.5cm.
