British WW1 Royal Tank Corps Vehicle Crew Anti Splatter Mask. Brown leather covered steel anti-fragmentation mask with protective slotted sheet metal eye panels. Chain mail skirt and chamois leather lining. No tie tapes present. Produced to protect British tank drivers and crew from shrapnel inside of tanks when hit by enemy shells during WW1.
No tie tapes. Good overall used condition.
