Vincenzo Di Biase was born in Termoli in 1940. As a child he soon showed a naturalness and ease of expression for drawing and a certain sensitivity towards colours. He taught for almost forty years as a tenured professor of Mathematics and Physics at the scientific high school Collegio Nazareno in Rome. He began his artistic journey almost for fun. As the years passed, this activity, which began as a secondary activity, became a necessary tool for expressing his imagination. Vincenzo Di Biase painted for three decades, expressing, through colours, internal states of mind transfused into those particular signs, which the artist himself does not intend to rationalise.
