German Third Reich student's parade bayonet by Horster, Solingen. Good plated single edged 20 cm blade with central fuller, the forte bearing oval maker’s logo. No movement to blade. Plated turn up quillon and bird head pommel and moving locking stud. Black composition chequered grips, the obverse inset with red, white and black diamond eagle and swastika, secured with two rivets. Housed in its black painted steel scabbard complete with brown leather frog (slight restitching). Minor service wear, generally GC.
