Vinyl - Sex Pistols God Save The Queen - Original withdrawn 7" single on A&M Records (AMS 7284). The holy grail of vinyl for punk collectors and one of the most sought after records in the world for serious collectors of all genres. Whilst already one of the rarest records in the world, this particular copy is even more special as it is not one of the 1998 'golden handshake' copies. Our vendor, who was the first person to greet the Sex Pistols when they came to the A&M offices, and who left A&M in 1984 explains:

"As I was clearing my desk, having seen the box of Sex Pistols singles in the bottom drawer (which had been sitting there since 1977), I thought it might be possible for me to take a few as they could in due course be worth something. I asked Derek (Green) if I could take some and he said yes". She goes on to say "The current single being sold at Wessex Auction Rooms is my last one. I have been holding onto it for sentimental reasons, but I feel now is the time to part company with it. I am concerned it might one day go missing or be damaged"
