PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE COCKERELS & BUDDHIST LION. A pair of 19thc Chinese export famille rose Cockerels, brightly painted with a red crest (29.5cms high), also with an early 20thc buddhist lion, brightly painted and on a wooden stand (19cms high). (3).
Cockerels, one with a small chip to the crest and mouth, firing crack to the base. The other, small chip to the crest and graze to the mouth, both with small holes to the backs of the bases (possibly from manufacture).
Lion, ears and the top of the head are chipped, glaze loss in places.
