This decorative earthenware plate features a classic Hispano-Moorish aesthetic, characterized by intricate scrolling foliate motifs arranged in concentric bands in lustrous gold and cobalt blue glaze. At the centre is a heraldic shield emblem bearing a checkerboard design, likely referencing a noble family or regional symbol. The outer rim is adorned with stylized floral and vine patterns, while the reverse shows a golden border with a rooster maker’s mark in blue.
