An Edwardian satinwood and mahogany kidney shaped desk by Maple & Co., the boxwood and ebony strung moulded top with inset green gilt tooled leather, over a single kneehole drawer and four graduated drawers to each pedestal, all with satinwood banding and original gilt brasses, raised on eight square tapered legs with brass cap castors, 47 ¼ x 25 ¼in. (120 x 64cm.), 29 ½in. (75cm.) high.
