An early 20th Century Pilkington's plastic clay tile, circa 1907, decorated in the Persian style after designs by John Chambers with a stylised floral motif in tonal blue, purple and orange, damaged.
NB - This tile was purchased from the estate of Mary Chambers, daughter of John Chambers who was the designer for Pilkington's and was credited with the development of the Persian style.
There are minor chips and losses to the margins and one corner and also some even crazing across the front.
