1856 Pattern Drummer's Sword MKI
19 inch, double edged, spear point blade. Traces of foliage etching to one side. Cast brass, one piece crossguard with fleur de lys ends and central VR cartouche. Ribbed grip and bulbous pommel. Side of grip stamped "2NN.26". Contained in its leather scabbard with brass throat stamped "2NN.18". Lower chape absent. Some pitting to blade.
