Two 19th century treen wool winders / swifts, one with four scissor action retractable arms, the other a fine Georgian example with removable arms, 21cm high. Georgian Wool Winder overall in good condition for age with some slight signs of wear: base - has very tiny amount of nibbling in some areas under base rim, some light marks and indentations. Arms in good order some slight signs of wear, marks, light indentations. Spindle top moves freely on spindle, one arm cavity has slight distortion that may be chip or original to making.
