A 18th century Indian Ragamala illustration, depicting Ragini Devgandhari at prayer kneeling in front of a Lingham shrine beside a recumbent calf and tree, gouache on paper, 21 x 13cm, framed and glazed. Provenance. Ex-collection of Winifred Nicholson (1893-1981), British painter. Her Father was Under-Secretary for India with whom she travelled to India, Burma and Ceylon in 1919. Previously offered by Sotheby's in their Arts of the Islamic World Sale 19/102016 lot 209
