set with a 16mm x 11.5mm solid opal with exceptional orange, red, green and blue colour play, Asymmetrically millgrain set to the white metal bar brooch with a planished wreath of leaves and berries. Length of the brooch 5.7cm, width 2.5cm, weight 7.1gms
The opal is splendid! No chips or drying out cracks.,its not even got a scratch, really good colour play the photos don't do it justice.... Its a solid piece not a doublet. The mount has light tarnish, no hallmark or makers mark, and functions well as a brooch.
