In 8 volumes: four of letterpress, illustrated by above 2500 engravings; and four of octavo and quarto plates. 2nd edition 1844. 8 vols with a total of 412 plates, some folding. With 'Prince Albert's Library' on a rubber stamp on each title page, and a small paper label to the base of the spines (2 labels missing). Blind-stamped decorated cloth. Light spotting to plates, but a very clean and attractive set (8) (box)
