AN ANTIQUE 13 BORE PERCUSSION CAVALRY PERCUSSION PISTOL fitted with an 8'' barrel, it bears no proof marks or arsenal marks on the barrel, lock or walnut stock, it is fitted with a non detachable hinged ramrod and the lock is attached to the stock with a single bolt insert into a cup insert, the barrel is attached to the stock with a single unprotected wedge, it has a brass trigger guard and brass flat butt cap fitted with a steel ramrod ring, in essence it matches the feature embedded in the 1858 India Pattern Cavalry pistol but was almost certainly made in the Indian sub continent, the barrel has lost all its original finish and has been polished leaving some rust pit marks, its lock is in working condition and its stock is free of any major defects
