WW2 Issue Army Timepiece Watch by "Leonidas"


plated case.  The rear with broad arrow and "ATP".  Clear face with lower seconds dial.  Maker "Leonidas Swiss Made".  Leather strap with ink naming.  Together with newspaper cutting to original owner ... 1941 Christmas card ... Bakelite ink pen.  All contained in leather jewellery box.  


Originally owned by Arnold Gartside MBE who served with the RAOC as a Major.  He gave it to a relative J Rigby before his death in 1953.  Watch appears to keep time but cannot be guaranteed.
