Good RAF operations room sector wall clock, the 14" twenty-four hour dial with colour sector markers within a minute chapter ring, the movement back plate stamped Made by Elliott Ltd, England, 1941, ser. no. 15977 and the case also stamped Made by F.W. Elliott, 19** (pendulum, winding key and bottom door key)

* In 2000, the dial of this clock received very careful professional cleaning and some 'touching-in'; the movement has also been professionally refurbished and keeps good time

** The vendor, a retired RAF veteran, has owned this clock for almost twenty-five years. The previous owner lived in Northern Ireland and although had no history of the clock, believed it had been in Northern Ireland during and since the end of WWII
