white metal and steel, octagonal barrel with rear percussion nipple. Side of barrel marked "Unwin & Rodgers Patentees Sheffield". Rear, central percussion hammer. White metal grip frame with lift up rear compartment. Polished and checkered slab sides. Lower, central, flip down trigger with two fold out, single edge blades. Both marked at the forte "Unwin & Rodgers Patent".
