A VICTORIAN MOURNING BROOCH, a large brooch of rectangular form with yellow metal scrolling foliage edging, the centre of the brooch is designed as a black enamel background with a floral split pearl design, one flower centrally set with a rose cut diamond, the obverse of the brooch has a glass panel with plaited hair secured, inscribed to the brooch in Memory of R Anderson Olt 12 December 1847 at 86, fitted with a white metal pin and c clasp, approximate gross weight 33.9 grams (condition report: general light wear, the clasp is misshapen, requires attention, overall condition good)
