A violin, probably first quarter 20th century, the bridge perhaps more recent and marked BAUSCH, with an unsigned bow with ebony and mother of pearl handle, in a veneered case with a box of Barnes and Mullins rosin. Seems generally sound with some wear to the purfling, occasional isolated marks, and a small re-stuck chip at the top of the scroll. The case is well worn and has several veneer losses.
