A PAINTED BERBER OIL LAMP, KABYLIA ALGERIA, EARLY 20TH CENTURY. Low fired ceramic oil lamp modelled in four lamp sections above a bowl with two arches and a handle. Decorated with traditional tribal designs in mineral pigments and glazed with a natural resin. 39cm tall.
Slight chips around the foot and to one lamp section. Wear from use and age with no signs of restoration.
