An Edison Home Phonograph, marked 'Thomas A. Edison at Orange, N. J. USA', serial number 320686, with large painted Cygnet No10 Horn, plus a very large collection of Edison and other musical wax cylinders in their original card tubular boxes

More Information

There visibly no structural damage, no signs of wood worm. The horn has patina to it. General wear and distress to the surfaces throughout. It appears to have gearing to switch between 2 and 4 minute cylinders. I have got the crank to spin, but I have not managed to get the phonograph to play properly. It may need a new needle. Please note we cannot guarantee function or fit for purpose with mechanical pieces that come to auction.
