THREE SCOTTISH SILVER TODDY LADLES

the first by Adam Graham, Glasgow, c.1775, the oval bowl engraved with initials, turned wood handle, 40.5cm long; the second, maker's mark indistinct, Edinburgh 1828, the circular bowl chased with flowers and scrolls, engraved with initials, turned wood handle, 38cm long; and the third by William Russell II, Glasgow 1834, the oval bowl with a leaf and grape mount, turned wood handle, 46cm long. (3) 7.5 troy ounces gross

The William Russell ladle with crisp marks inside the bowl.

The Edinburgh ladle with crisp marks inside the bowl but for the maker's mark.

The Adam Graham marks are a little rubbed but legible.

The three ladles are generally in good condition. The William Russell ladle is a particularly nice example.
