These hand-coloured engravings of the eggs of birds of prey are from the Coloured Illustrations of the Eggs of British Birds accompanied with descriptions of the Eggs and Nests by William C Hewitson, published by Jan Van Voorst, London, 1856.

The prints show the eggs of:Kite or Milvus Vulgaris;Common Buzzard & Rough-legged Buzzard;Honey Buzzard or Pernis Apivorus;Marsh Harrier & Montagu's Harrier.

Size: 8.25in x 5.25in (20cm x 12.5cm).

The prints are in excellent condition - please inspect the image carefully.
