EARLY QV PROOFS/REPRINTS: Group of late 19th C. reprints from Dies used for 1854 ½a, 1a, etc. values. Includes ½a brownish red pair on yellowish paper with letters "E" and "N" on reverse (Spence 129), single ½a red on darker cream-coloured paper and 1a red pair on white paper with "Specimen" (lower case) printed on reverse of each stamp. Also a block of 4 x 1a red as previous but in combination with octagonal 2a design above (ex Hausberg). 4 items, all with ample margins.
