A percussion .54 bore plains rifle by Pennsylvania Rifle Works, with heavy 36 inch octagonal barrel with round turned muzzle, seven groove rifling, fitted with nickle dovetailed front sight and buckhorn rear sight, lock with bird engraving, double set triggers, figured stock fitted with brass furniture including patch box and scroll trigger guard, length 142cm overall. Section 58(2) antique/obsolete calibre no licence required to buy this lot, purchaser must be over the age of 18.
