ETHEL POXON (ACTIVE CIRCA 1931-1956) THREE FRAMED LANDSCAPE SCENES, comprising 'Passing Storm, Bosham' depicting boats in a Suffolk Estuary at low tide with storm clouds overhead, signed and titled to artist label verso, oil on board, approximate size 25cm x 34cm ( a painting with a similar title 'After the storm, Bosham' was exhibited by Ethel at the Royal Academy in 1931, catalogue number 709), together with 'On The Surrey Hills', an extensive landscape, signed and titled to artist label verso, oil on board, approximate size 28cm x 46cm and 'A Break in The Storm' depicting oak trees beside a river, signed and titled to artist label verso, oil on board, approximate size 26cm x 34cm, Condition Report: the first two pictures would benefit from a clean, both have some frame damage (Ethel had four paintings accepted at the Royal Academy, two in 1931, one in 1948 and one in 1956)
