£120
A good 19th century Vernis Martin type brisé fan, bone sticks, almost totally decorated with a merry scene of dancers and others in a park, beside a large stone statue of a prancing horse and human figures, the verso with a scene of a ruined castle, both sides decorated with flowers in the gorge, musical instruments and flowers to the guards, and some floral painted sections on the ribbon contained in a green card fan box with cream silk lining, guard approx. 19cm
In very good order, the box scuffed but sound, and strangely there is an addition upper section of a guardstick with similar but not exactly the same design.
