Star lot: A fabulous Victorian whist card box with stunning geometric mother-of-pearl exterior and sterling silver detail representative of the four card suits along with a detailed Silver skull finial to centre. The box contains a set of mini playing cards as well as a mixed wood pair of The Camden Tom Thumb whist markers by Goodall & Son London, dated to the early 19th century. Markers have labels and come in a designated space on the inside of the box lid. Silver playing suit detail is hallmarked Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & Francis Shepherd, Chester, 1895.
H7cm x W10.5cm x D7.5cm Is in Amazing condition and it is a humdinger of a piece.
