A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY PAIR TO THE MACHINE GUN CORPS. A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 127984 Pte C.F. Knights M.G.C. Charles Frederick Knights from Aylsham, Norfolk. He served with the 34th Company, Machine Gun Corps. He was killed in action on the 11th April 1918 and is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial in Belgium. He is also recorded as 35348 with the East Surrey Regiment.
