A Chinese white metal model of a boy riding a qilin , early 20th century,
well modelled with engraved and chased details, stamped makers mark to the belly of the creature,
12.5cm long
The figure is very tarnished and would benefit from a clean. The tail is present and has a small loop which attaches to the back but falls off quite easily. The polearm in the figures left hand is slightly bent otherwise in reasonable condition.
