A 19TH CENTURY INDO PERSIAN KULAH KHUD HELMET. With a decorative fluted bowl inlaid with scrolling silver and gilt damascene type decoration, the rim with islamic script. the finial on an inverted flower shaped mount, with adjustable nose guard and two further mounts, with iron chain mail to the back and sides. The interior with apparently original padded crimson lining. 38cm high, 27cm wide *Condition: light surface rust to chain mail and rubbing to decoration and areas of loss to decoration, interior distressed.
