A CASED MID VICTORIAN 80 BORE TRANTER TYPE RIMFIRE REVOLVER. With a 9.5cm octagonal barrel with scrolling foliate engraving, with a five shot revolving barrel, double action and side-mounted Tranter Patent ejector lever to the right of the gun. On a finely cross-hatched walnut stock with engraved oval steel butt-plate. 22cm overall. In a light oak fitted box, the rectangular top with a circular vacant brass escutcheon, internally fitted with section drilled for cartridges, steel cleaning rod and wire worm. The box 27cm wide *Condition: Some areas of original blueing, light scuffing to surfaces, light marks and knocks to exterior of box.
