** THE 7 YEARS WAR - FOURNIER CORRESPONDENCE - POST-TREATY COVER TO WINCHESTER P.O.W. CAMP; 4 Apr. 1763 EL from London (in French - full typed transcript - ref. mail received incl. a "large packet for the [prison? ship] Canada") to "Joseph Fournier, Prisoner of War at Winchester" charged "3[d]" with a partly fine "5/AP" Bishop Mark on the flap. The letter is endorsed as having been received on 8 April, but was not replied to - clearly Fournier was released very soon after he received this letter, as the Treaty of Paris has been signed on 10 Feb. 1763.
