A Chinese cabside numberplate, 0238, from a SY Class 2-8-2 built in 1970 and purchased new by Beijing Capital Iron & Steel (ShouGang) where it worked all is life. The plate is 39"x12" and is fabricated with the characters/numbers and surrounding beading faced with brass. The front has been restored and the back painted in primer. (Postage Band: N/A)
