A Japanese cloisonné enamelled jewellery trinket box, Meiji period. The hinged cover decorated with a bird amongst a variety of flowers and bamboo issuing from a rock outcrop against a turquoise ground. 2.1 in (5.2 cm) height, 4.3 in (10.9 cm) width, 3.6 in (9.2 cm) depth. Condition report: Light surface wear with age.
