Mounted in gilt wood frame. 122cm x 91.5cm. Total frame size 133cm x 103cm. Ref: Born in Shanghai and trained in traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy in the 1970s, where she went on to graduate from the Fine Art Department of Shanghai College of Drama in 1981. She studied in America from 1982 and has exhibited in Europe, Asia and America and has large scale artworks installed in four of the world’s ten tallest buildings. Artworks have been sold in Christie's in 1994 and 1996 and more recently in Bonhams Hong Kong, Asian Contemporary Art sale 2007, Lot 22. Provenance: This painting was exhibited at Art Asia Hong Kong in November 1994 and purchased from East West Fine Art following the exhibition for 58,000 HKD. From an English private collection.
