ANCIENT EGYPTIAN BLACK STONE SCARAB, CIRCA 664-30 B.C.

A black stone scarab amulet dates back to the Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, circa 664-30 B.C. The scarab is a powerful symbol of rebirth and protection in ancient Egyptian culture, often associated with the god Khepri, who was believed to push the sun across the sky. The scarab features detailed carving on the base with hieroglyphic inscriptions.
