SIGNED BOOK: 'Pigeon Pie', Walter de la MARE (2nd imp.) Please note: NOT signed by the author but by G.H.Hardy, mathematician. He was one of the great pure mathematical geniuses of the 20th C., who saw 'poetic beauty' in Maths. His copy, perhaps. This seems to be supported by the fact that both Hardy and de la Mare were within the ambit of the Bloomsburyites. Hardy also corresponded with poets/writers of the period. His signature appears to be extremely rare. The book came from the collection of an academic mathmatician. On-line imnages confirm the probable authenticity.
