RARE PRESTAMP INTER-ISLAND COVER EX LOYALTY IS. TO SAMOA; Fine 25 Oct. 1854 EL (folds neatly to show internal heading alongside address panel) from Missionary "J.P. Sunderland" to Rev. Nisbet at "Lalomalava" (Samoa) with interesting news of developments on the island in the very early stages of European contacts; "We are going to visit another part of Mare and also call at Lifu and then the ship returns to Mare and...goes on to Samoa...We have all got separate cottages...At Luarna (?) they have got up a new stone chapel...We shall have the pleasure of, opening it, I believe".
