Sebastian Kiarie, (Kenyan, born 1971), My Kind of Work, oil on canvas, signed, titled verso, 99.5x48.5cm

Born 22.12.1971. Graduated from Egerton university 1996 with a B.Sc degree in agriculture. Inspired by Mage and Meek Gichugu, Founder member of Ngecha Artist's Association and lives and works in Ngecha. Between the years 1991 and 1997 he participated in eight exhibitions at Gallery Watatu, three at the French Cultural Centre and one at Village Market, National Museum and Charter Hall respectively. He also participated in an exhibition entitled "In celebration of women" in Harare, Zimbabwe.
He was awarded "The most outstanding artist in East Africa in 1995 by East Africa Industries
