A large polychromed wooden group with Saint James of Compostela on horseback, Spain, 16th C.
The Spanish saint raises his right arm which was supposed to hold his now lost sword. Seated on his horse, he's wearing a wide-brimmed hat decorated with a shell and is dressed in a tunic with a folded collar. His mantle rests on his right shoulder. H.: 131 cm
