A brass barrelled flintlock holster pistol, c 1770, by N. Atkinson, 16½" overall, tapered barrel 10" engraved "London" in teardrop panel, the breech with early Birmingham proofs; plain signed banana shaped lock of earlier style; walnut fullstock with apron around the breech tang; the brass mounts mostly engraved with dog tooth borders, including large plain domed butt cap, flat side plate, and waisted escutcheon; plain wooden ramrod a replacement.
