7332 - This very large framed limited edition on canvas by the famous artist George Stubbs is titled "Whistlejacket" after the famous horse. It is limited to an edition of only 75 Worldwide. The quality of this limited edition is absolutely stunning and superbly framed. Please check the size as this is very large piece of art. NOTE: Supplied with a replacement valuation for £2500 along with a signed certificate of authentication (signed by the Master Printer) free of charge. Mint condition. Whistlejacket was foaled in 1749. His most famous victory was in a race over four miles for 2000 guineas at York in August 1759. Stubbs huge picture was painted in about 1762 for the 2nd Marquess of Rockingham, Whistlejackets owner and a great patron of Stubbs. . H: 189cm W: 163cm D: 8cm
