Two Māori artefacts of great anthropological interest: A WAHAIKA TIKI wooden club with PAUA (abalone) eyes.
Beautifully hand-carved and polished, inspired by the Pacific waves. Dimensions: 31 x 13 x 2 cm. AND A model of a TATA canoe bailer hollowed-out scoop with a handle, carved from a single piece of wood. Accurately detailed with a smooth outer surface and a rough inner surface with PAUA eyes. Dimensions: 20 x 8.5 x 6 cm. Both quality items rare and collectible.
