13 bore, 20 3/4 inch, smoothbore barrel. Front blade sight. Rear V sight. Military lock plate stamped "1862 Enfield". The rear with crowned VR. Military percussion hammer. Polished, full stock woodwork. The butt with faint "Enfield stamp. Brass, two piece butt plate, trigger guard and end cap. Side Cavalry bar with swivel ring. Two steel barrel bands. Steel, swivel ramrod.
