A GEORGE V SILVER HIP FLASK OF BOWED RECTANGULAR FORM, bayonet fitting hinged cover, the lower half of the flask with removable gilt lined sleeve stamped 949 to the interior and with corresponding numbers to the base of the flask, makers G & J W Hawksley, Sheffield 1943, 6.6ozt, 205.3 grams, height 12cm x width 8cm (Condition report: some light surface scratches, partial rubbing to hallmarks, cork was dried out and slightly loose in the cap before testing the flask with water for leakage, of which there was some slight leakage around the closed cap when tipped upside down)
