Judith Elliott: three cat fans, the first a fixed screen, depicting the “Gatti de Roma”, with two black cats in silhouette, their tails entwined to form a heart, signed and dated 1998; a large folding fan depicting mice in their home under the skirting board with spinning wheel and basket, a large white cat glaring at them from outside, unable to enter, signed on the recto but undated; and a smaller fan, an outdoor scene with fine sprays of wisteria shading a tabby cat sleeping on a blue cushion, finished with a metal cat bell to the guard, signed and dated 1999 (3)
