Late 18th Century Heylin London Brass Barrel Carbine
20 inch, smoothbore brass barrel. The top engraved "Heylin Cornhill London" with an ornate panel. Breech with proof stamps. Steel breech tang with floral engraving. Early lock plate with edge engraving and name "Heylin". The tang with floral engraving. Polished hand rail, full stock woodwork. Brass butt plate with floral engraving. Brass trigger guard and ramrod pipes. Brass stand of arms escutcheon and side plate. Horn tipped, wooden ramrod.
